Dr. Kaufman serves on numerous medical journal editorial boards, for their expertise in diagnosis and treatment of hernias. The doctors also participate in clinical trials related to these conditions.
We specialize in multiple recurrent hernias, workers compensation, motor vehicle injuries cases and have repaired many treatment failures referred from other hernia surgeons.
Our physicians use the latest techniques and materials for repair of hernias including synthetic and biological meshes. They are also skilled in tissue-only hernia repairs, including the Shouldice, McVay, and Desarda techniques. Due to their specialized training, our practice is requested both locally and nationally.
