Dr. Kaufman and his staff are wonderful, professional, and very efficient. Dr. Kaufman explained all my options. I opted for surgery which went very well. There is a small waiting period to determine if the surgery corrected all my issues. What I like most about Dr. Kaufman is his assurance there is a fixable solution and his positive demeanor he can help you feel better. His assistant always makes time to answer any questions I have whether it be in office or by phone.I also want to mention the care I received from Dr. Kaufman and the entire staff at the surgical center. I went to Dr. Kaufman to discuss the inguinal hernia that I have.Dr. Kaufman is extremely knowledgeable and staight forward.He said the standard approach is for a person to follow their regular lifestyle and regularly monitor their hernia. If the person experiences pain and/or an increase in the size of the hernia, Dr. Kaufman said to return to his office to discuss getting the hernia repaired.I mentioned to Dr. Kaufman my desire to get back into exercising -such as doing situps, pushups and jogging. He said to do so at my comfort level and to stay alert for any changes in the hernia.Dr. Kaufman is a surgeon that knows when to not recommend surgery! What more can a patientask for??
